I had the pleasure of taking photos of Lashanna Williams, a massage therapist and death doula, in her home in Seattle for the @nytimes. “The iPhone at the Deathbed” explores the (not so new) practice of photographing loved ones as or after they pass away and how that practice fits in the age of the internet/social media.
